Additional Education
Due to a series of severe health issues as a young child, I was not able to leave my home. I missed years of traditional schooling. My Godmother, Dr. Jacqueline Eva Chevalley, whom I am named after, was a doctor for the United Nations and was very involved with the art communities in both New York and Paris. She was appalled that the public school only provided instruction in math, english and science. She took it upon herself to provide me with concentrated individualized instruction in - drawing, music, photography and painting. The artists actually came to me in my home for years until I was able to go their studios. What a gift.
I am the only high school student to ever win the New York State University/Builders Association Architectural Design Contest. 1969.
